The collision happened around 11:45 a.m. at the Monroe Street train crossing. Video showed a vehicle stopped at the intersection, but its front end extended onto the tracks. The train hit the vehicle's front end as it passed, causing the vehicle to spin out. Police said the driver, who was the only person inside the vehicle at the time, was taken to Hinsdale Hospital for "very minor injuries."
