The FIA has increased the Super License points allocated to INDYCAR, with P3 through 9 earning more points. Had this rule been in place earlier, Colton Herta would have 39 points and a single FP1 session would have secured his eligibility to compete in F1. To Tony Kanaan, this change was overdue.
