With prices climbing everywhere, it feels like the right time to start a series where we talk about what local spots actually cost. That way you can decide if it is for you or not and pick up a few ideas on how to make things more budget friendly. I love breakfast at Moon’s Kitchen Café in Downtown Boise on the second floor of 8th Street. It has a fantastic view, a cozy vibe, great service, and really good food. But their legendary Country Scramble ringing in at $21 can definitely cause a little sticker shock. So is it worth it? The portions at moonskitchenboise are huge. For this breakfast we got two lattes and split one entrée. We added a side of toast and they split everything for us with no split plate fee. We still finished with a ton of leftovers. Swipe to see our total. My personal recommendation for Moon’s Cafe is to go with a group of four, split two entrées, and get coffee. You still get the view, the great food, and the full experience, and it becomes much more cost effe...
