Father & son duo James & Reece Clissold have teamed up to help protect Turtle Doves, giving up their time to comb through thousands of trail camera images to spot these stunning birds.   Although famously known for appearing in the 12 Days of Christmas song, Turtle Doves have all but disappeared from our skies, with their numbers plummeting drastically by 98% between 1995 and 2023.   But thanks to the efforts of volunteers like James & Reece, the Turtle Dove has been given a glimmer of hope.   However, they’re not out of the woods just yet.
