Stephen Sutton will retire from his role as vice chancellor for student affairs in July, according to an announcement from Chancellor Rich Lyons and Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Benjamin Hermalin Dec. 4. Sutton has worked at UC Berkeley for 22 years, but he began his student affairs career as a residential life coordinator in 1987.
