Fashion has always been a creative outlet for me and I was fortunate enough to have exposure to art and design from a young age from my grandfather who worked under Bob Mackie for years. Many kids, however, are often not as lucky and do not have access to programs that allow them to experiment and find their own spark of creativity. Our goal thestyleguise was to find an organization that allowed kids to unearth their artistic passions like I was able to -- and we found it with donorschoose. The #TSxSG collaboration donated for classrooms to receive sewing machines and the required design materials. It was important that we got involved with providing the next generation a way to discover their love of fashion and keep the art of design alive. Fashion allows you to tell a story without words, and I look forward to seeing what kind of story the next generation decides to create! ❤️
