Delta Sigma Theta’s Baltimore Alumnae Chapter has welcomed an exceptional group of women through its Fall 2025 line, The Chosen 86 including health policy leader and civic advocate Natasha Murphy.
Murphy serves as the Director of Health Policy at the Center for American Progress, where she leads state initiatives to expand coverage, reduce costs, and improve affordability nationwide. Her career includes roles with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, the District of Columbia’s Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services, and the Barbara Jordan Health Policy Fellowship. Her expertise has been featured in The Hill, Axios, U.S. News & World Report, Modern Healthcare, and on MSNBC.
