In October 2011, I attended my first NFL game ever as a 24 year old. We sat at the very top of Nissan Stadium (then LP Field, I believe) and I zoomed in to the sidelines with the little point and shoot I brought with me and took the first photo in the reel. I noticed the lack of women on the sidelines, but that didn’t stop me from turning to my friend to say “That’s what I want to do. I’m going to be down there someday.” And I actually believed it. I had no idea how I was going to get down there at the time, and life has taken all kinds of twists and turns since then. But I knew God put that dream in my heart for a reason and I believed that someday it would happen and He would guide my path and that it would be for reasons bigger than myself.
