The University of Texas has officially issued an RFP for a major new development adjacent to Moody Center, a smaller-scale arena and dedicated student-athlete housing. The proposed 6,000-seat arena would become the new home for Texas’ powerhouse women’s volleyball program and could expand to 6,500 seats for select live events that don’t fit the Moody Center footprint.
