Heat exhaustion occurs when your body struggles to cool itself down, leading to overheating. Learn how to recognize the signs and keep yourself and your loved ones safe.
Signs of heat exhaustion include:

â—ľHeadache or nausea
â—ľDizziness or even fainting
If you experience heat exhaustion, you should:
â—ľGet out of the heat and get into shade or air conditioning .
â—ľLoosen your clothing.
â—ľLie down and elevate your legs if you feel faint.
â—ľSlowly sip water or a sports drink.
If you’re not feeling better within 30 minutes — or if symptoms get worse — get medical help. Heat exhaustion can turn into heat stroke if you’re not careful.
