A quick peak at the mural I completed for artmakesplace tcbcommunities pinestreetinn 😍🫣 This was an incredible project where I put my background with Arts Therapy to use creating a Trauma Informed palette for pinestreetinn ‘s 40th Supportive Housing location, with priority given to people 62 and older moving out of homelessness, helping people age with dignity. The mural represents many things, as symbolism is hidden throughout. Each element, from the Irish Sea Moss, to Sea Rocket and mussels are resilient (and edible) plants that hold root no matter how turbulent the weather. Based on thichnhathanh ‘s quote “Enlightenment is when the wave realizes it is the ocean” — within the waves you may spot many faces, somewhere around 30 faces are hidden in this mural.
