Today we head to the Palmetto State 🌴 for our Army JROTC #CadetOfTheWeek. Meet Carolina Redmond-Murillo, a senior at Airport High School in South Carolina. Cadet Redmond-Murillo joined #ArmyJROTC to follow in her mother’s footsteps. “She did it throughout all her years in high school, and she also was a part of the Drill team. She encouraged me to join and see if I liked it. It ended up becoming the biggest program that I am a part of in my school.” Redmond-Murillo is currently ranked #2 in her graduating class and is a member of Airport High School’s Student Government, Beta Club, National Honor Society, and the STEM Club. She is a member of the Eagles Battalion’s Drill Team and is very active in all community events her battalion participates in throughout the year, to include service projects like coordinating blood drives or the adopt-a-highway program.
