Meet soon-to-be CALS grad Julianna Welch! ✨🎓 Welch is from Sylva, N.C., and majored in plant biology through CALS as well as fisheries, wildlife and conservation biology through NCStateCNR. She was a member of the University Scholars Program and Epsilon Eta, where she served as vice president of communications. “I am so thankful for my time at NC State and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences,” she said. “From the amazing opportunities to the supportive faculty, the experiences and connections I made in CALS have prepared me for my career in ways I never expected. I am so happy to graduate from such an exceptional program and to be a part of the Wolfpack.” After graduation, Welch plans to work seasonal jobs around the United States until pursuing her master’s degree, with the goal of working in conservation or a related field.
