Today, AWT was excited to welcome the 2026 class of llcleads . to the Transformation Training Center as part of their Business, Labor, and Economy Day. Participants explored how AWT is strengthening our region's workforce through hands-on training, apprenticeship pathways, and STEM education for all ages. AWT Founder Roger Sustar (LLC Class of 1992 and Leader of the Year 2005), Board Chair Alyson Sustar Scott (LLC Class of 1998), and Executive Director Teresa Simons (LLC Class of 2023) gave a presentation on the founding and continued work of AWT that impacts our region. Activities included robot jousting and learning how to operate a manual mill (turned off) with a drawing project.
