Open Class community came together for the very first Open Class Workshop Performance Winter Waltz, a beautiful moment where our Adult Beginner Ballet students stepped confidently into the spotlight. Under the guidance of faculty member Annastasia Mercedes, dancers performed a heartfelt piece she created just for them, sharing their artistry and newfound confidence on stage. After the performance, the dancers returned to the studio barre, offering friends and family an intimate look at the technique they have been building each week. It was a chance to see their hard work, musicality, and dedication up close. With the support of Open Classes Director Angelica Stiskin, this new event opened a space for adults discovering ballet to celebrate growth, artistry, and the joy of learning side by side.
