Optimal course set ups, home-gym advantage, and the ability to race freely with no repercussions. I dropped a bomb during LCQ and put up an 11:42 (it's on YouTube if you wanna watch it). That was the same strategy I took to Worlds. I lead through zone 5, came into zone 7 mere seconds behind Greyson, then the wheels fell off. I tried to make up what I lack in fitness or assault bike ability with courage. I played with fire and got absolutely torched. I'm proud of myself for sticking to my guns. A previous version of me would've been too scared to take that risk with fear of falling flat on my face. I hope I atleast made the race entertaining to watch.
