Gold Award Girl Scout Nora Johnson is opening doors for young dancers across her community! 💃💚 After seeing how the rising cost of dancewear and costumes prevents many families from participating, Nora partnered with The Dance Spot Eastlake, Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, and La Mesa First United Methodist Church to launch a dancewear donation and recycling program, teach dance 101 workshops, and host a community expo so young dancers could explore movement in an encouraging, accessible space. Donation boxes will remain in local studios so dancers can continue to share and recycle items long after her project. ♻️ Great job, Nora!
