This summer, the 2025 EPG Cohort 21 hit the road for an unforgettable journey across Appalachia, with experiences that were nothing short of transformational! First stop: Tennessee! 🇺🇸 Students explored innovation and entrepreneurship at the Spark CleanTech Accelerator at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, the Brickyard Tech Incubator, and Food Inc. Kitchen Incubator in Chattanooga. They also participated in the CO.Starters Bootcamp in partnership with University of Tennessee-Chattanooga 💡 Next up: Roanoke, Virginia! They hiked the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Trail, and attended the Richmond Fed Rural Development Conference 🌿 Before leaving Virginia, the cohort biked the Creeper Trail from Abingdon to Damascus 🚴‍♂️ and enjoyed a performance of Thurgood at the Barter Theater 🎭 Then it was off to Eastern Kentucky, where students visited the Starfire Solar Site, Pine Mountain Settlement School, Portal 31 Coal Mine, and Appalshop — connecting with local entrepreneur...
