This is our run from the Red Bull Soapbox Race in Cincinnati in 2018. Team Loot Llamas built a Fortnite-inspired loot llama soapbox when Fortnite was still brand new to most people. The characters were pulled straight from the game at the time. I was the driver, dressed as Burnout. James was Rapscallion. Matt was the Fortnite Bush. Tim was Abstrakt. The course was wet, foot straps were not allowed, and once my shoe slipped off the frame, the cart lost its only stabilizing contact point. At that moment, the run was over. I traveled about five yards. My shoe traveled farther than I did. I might be the shortest distance traveled in Red Bull Soapbox history, but the distance between me and my shoe might be the largest delta ever recorded.
