Back story to one of my favorite clips from #gymkhana #aussieshred .. tobyprice87 came to set directly from a rally and we were almost out of light by the time we were ready to film this scene. It’s a reverse entry / alley oop 270* entry on a fairly narrow road with a small opening in the fence. I told Toby to follow me so he could get a feel for what speed I wanted to enter (about 70mph) and to give the camera crew an idea of what the stunt would look like… on the test run I slid a little deep, past the opening in the fence and came to a stop a few feet in front of the camera crew who were setting marks 😳 I told them I had it on the next take but safety had the camera crew move back pretty far. Toby did a wheelie, I cut in front of him and nailed the exit. He nose wheelies to a stop perfectly at his mark and Scotto called wrap on the day. Felt bad because Toby flew all the way there and waited around for 6 hours then did one take and had to drive 12 hours home. Truly an honor to have...
