A stay-in worker in Mandaue City, Cebu, is being praised online after she saved her two Pomeranians during a building fire by throwing them from a third-floor railing to firefighters and bystanders waiting below.
The incident happened early Dec. 10 at a three-storey building that reportedly housed a styrofoam manufacturing facility, with workers living on the third floor. After tossing both dogs, she climbed over the railing to reach a ladder that extended only to the second floor, and the clip ends with a firefighter climbing up to help rescue her. Witnesses said she was treated for minor injuries.
The Manila Bulletin identified her as Ei Mei Lee Maningo.
