This week at garfieldelementaryoakland, every student went home with a safeway gift card to help families stretch a little further this season. Safeway team members also volunteered at our holiday book fair, supporting students as they chose books and helping keep the energy high all day! Throughout this year, Safeway Foundation has provided more than $100,000 in gift cards to Oakland students and families, including as part of Christmas With the Currys. We’re grateful for their continued support of our community. #ChristmasWithTheCurrys 📷 desmondcharlesphoto
