During a visit to Manila last month, and following a keynote session moderated by Nobel laureate maria_ressa at the up.edu.ph Rule of Law Forum, CFJ co-founder Amal Clooney discussed new Oxford Institute of Technology and Justice partnerships with the University of the Philippines College of Law the Ateneo de Manila University Law School ateneodemanilau ateneohumanrightscenter. Together, they’ll responsibly harness technology and AI to improve access to justice, focusing on helping women and journalists understand their rights and navigate the legal system. This collaboration brings together legal expertise, academic research, and on-the-ground knowledge to ensure new tools actually serve the communities that need them most.
