Stop AI, the group Kirchner founded, had become known for its intense brand of anti-AI advocacy. At protests, the group flies the phrase “AI will kill us all” and has drawn mass media attention.
What began as an internal divide has expanded into an ongoing investigation involving a man missing for almost three weeks and the possible threat of violence against one of the world’s largest AI companies.
