Day 3 of science mischief! Let’s make a snowman toot ☃️💨🤭 Follow for 12 days of science mischief 😉 📝HOW TO 1️⃣Put 2 tablespoons of baking soda in a Ziploc bag (I recommend the name brand ones! Off brand can sometimes have invisible holes at the seems) 2️⃣Put 1 cup vinegar in a different Ziploc bag - don’t zip it up, and place it in your bag of baking soda 3️⃣ zip the baking soda bag TIGHT and tape it onto your snowman 🫨NOW SHAKE 🎄🧪 THE SCIENCE 🤓 Baking soda is a base. Vinegar is an acid. When you mix the two together, you kickstart an acid-base chemical reaction that creates carbon dioxide bubbles. 🫧Those bubbles build and build and build, which means the pressure builds and builds and builds. 💨Once the bag can’t take the pressure anymore -> it toots!!
