With today's sixth and final preseason game now complete, it’s worth noting that Artemi Panarin did not suit up for a single exhibition game.
Panarin, 33, initially left training camp early back on September 19 with a lower-body injury, but then returned to practice exactly a week later. Now, he’s dealing with an upper-body injury that made him a late scratch for Thursday’s contest. The latest update is that Panarin skated on his own prior to yesterday’s (Friday’s) practice.
#NewYork has also being proceeding cautiously with JT Miller, who left practice on September 29 with a non-contact leg injury. Since then, he has returned to practices in a non-contact jersey.
As of now, the
#Rangers have 24 players remaining in training camp.
