There were seven new state cuts against SM South and Olathe South on Dec. 8. Junior Emmet Lynch qualified in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:07.08 and the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.02. The other state cuts came from junior Cole Person, senior Grant Kimmel and sophomore Graham Delzer. Person qualified in the 50-yard free and 100-yard backstroke with times of 22.26  and 1:04.48. Kimmel qualified in the 100-yard breastroke placing first overall with a time of 1:04.48 and also qualified in a six-dive meet with a score of 265.10. Lastly, Delzer qualified in a six-dive meet with a score of 222.50.
