Take a peek into a critique day with Photography I! For this project, students were challenged to make light the central subject of their images. Some explored night photography, while others staged scenes where light itself became the focus. After printing their work, students displayed their images and participated in small-group critiques to discuss technique, intention, and creative choices. Curious about our Photography I course? Instruction includes technical aspects of digital photography, including camera function, exposure control, and creative control, as well as discussion on the contemporary and historical impact of the medium. The format of the class includes lectures, visual presentations, lab time, individual research/presentations and regular critiques.
