#PeterGreene, the character actor known for portraying chilling villains in 1990s classics such as #PulpFiction and #TheMask, has died at the age of 60. Greene was found unresponsive in his New York City apartment, his manager confirmed. A cause of death has not yet been determined, and police told the New York Post that no foul play is suspected. After breaking through in the early ’90s, Greene parlayed his intense screen presence into a string of memorable antagonist roles, including mafia kingpin Dorian Tyrell in The Mask, as well as appearances in The Usual Suspects and Under Siege 2. His most infamous role came in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 cult classic Pulp Fiction, where Greene portrayed Zed, a sadistic security guard who captures characters played by #BruceWillis and #VingRhames, cementing his place as one of the era’s most unsettling on-screen villains.
