It’s not that I’m insecure about the belly bruises at all (they’re badges of honor that are well-documented in plenty of other photos!) it’s just that in every other photo, those bruises inevitably become the distracting focal point & they center the struggle of this IVF journey (valid). But I just wanted to have at least one bump photo that didn’t require a ton of explanation and purely centered the joy of making it to this point.
