I’ve been dying to see The Housemaid 📖( one of my faves of 2025) come to life and it absolutely delivered last night As a huge fan of the book and author fmcfaddenauthor I’ll admit I usually think the book is better—but in this case, both the book and the movie are incredible psycho-thrillers. The film has twists that are different from the book, which made it even more fun to watch, and somehow I’m just as obsessed with the movie as I am with the novel. Watching Millie’s story unfold—the “perfect” job, the wealthy family, and the dark secrets behind closed doors—was gripping from start to finish. The Housemaid follows Millie, a woman desperate for a fresh start who accepts a live-in housekeeping job for a wealthy, seemingly perfect family.
