🎓 Celebrating May 2025 Graduates 🎓 👩‍🏫 Meet Cenya Neal, a double major in secondary education and mathematics from Woodruff, South Carolina! Inspired by the reputation of Upstate's education program and her favorite math teacher, an Upstate alum, Cenya has been greatly influenced by faculty members Elizabeth Waddell, Stephen Bismarck, Muhammad Hameed, Sherrie Grant, Sinead Brien, and her TRiO family. She’s proud of her project with assistant professor Victor Summers, which explored modern algebra axioms through a comic strip displayed at a 2024 symposium.
