Casey has always dreamed of attending USC Upstate, and returning later in life to complete her bachelor’s degree felt like a full-circle moment. Starting college at 29 was challenging, but she proudly earned both her associate and bachelor’s degrees for herself and her daughter. Casey credits Kirsten Meier and Star Jamison for being key influences on her journey. She’ll miss the friendly environment and personalized attention at Upstate.
