12 Days of Campus Captains ✨ On day eight of our celebration, meet Head Campus Captain Alyssa Studvent. ✨ A volleyball player for Xavier University of Louisiana and a founding member of their chapter, Alyssa has spent 3 years as a Campus Captain, and 2 years as a Head Campus Captain, in which she guides high school students through the program. Alyssa says, “I’ve learned that real change happens when people feel seen and supported. Through hosting awareness games and opening conversations around mental health and reducing stigmas within my HBCU, I’ve grown into a leader who values connection, vulnerability, and making sure no one feels like they’re facing their battles alone”.
