@Lorde and @2hollis took over the Barclays Center in NYC Tuesday night, delivering incredible performances for the excited audience. ⁠ ⁠Before performing “Liability,” Lorde gave a speech touching on her tumultuous past year. “It’s very, very easy to succumb to apathy, because there is so much that we see every day, so much pain. I’m scared all the time,” she began. “But you know the f*cking antidote to both of those feelings is getting to sit here in front of rooms of people who give me so much faith...I work for you.” She ended the speech with a call to action: “Don’t be afraid to fall the f*ck apart. Let yourself feel everything. I really think that’s the only way through this moment…Swim naked, have crazy sex, do drugs, dance, do it all.
