Our shoot day landed right in the middle of the government shutdown, but God is my protector — so I booked the flight, grabbed my camera bag on the way out the door, and next thing you know I’m on a red-eye to EWR (shoutout to @united for getting me there safely btw) Fast forward: I pull up to set for our 8am call time and off rip, everything is a breeze. even got to reunite with the first EVER photo assistant after six years apart 🥹. Collaborating with a team that trusted not just me but each other to execute a clients creative vision is such a fulfilling experience as a photographer.
