Pine-McLarty was a pioneer in Jamaican law — the first female partner at Myers, Fletcher & Gordon — and later made history as the first female Chair of the Electoral Commission of Jamaica (ECJ), where she played a key role in modernising electoral processes and strengthening democratic governance.
