Together, they are Khadhok (khadhok_arts). Based in Dharamsala, India, Khadhok — Tibetan Artists’ Collective was founded in 2023 by Tashi Nyima, Tenzin Melak, and Lea Taake to create space for contemporary Tibetan artists to share their work, exchange ideas, and strengthen their practice. Meaning “colors” in Tibetan, Khadhok reflects the diversity of voices, experiences, and stories that shape Tibetan contemporary art today.
