Our collection continues to grow! We’re pleased to share that the Rubin has acquired nine works by seven contemporary artists: Uuriintuya Dagvasambuu (uureeart), Tserang Dhundrup, Tsering Nyandak, Ang Sang, Sodhon (sodhonart), Tsewang Tashi, and Gyempo Wangchuk (gyempowangchuk). These acquisitions reflect our ongoing commitment as a global museum to supporting living artists and expanding understanding of Himalayan art today. Select works by Uuriintuya Dagvasambuu and Gyempo Wangchuk will also travel nationally with "Gateway to Himalayan Art" through 2030.
