We are honored to share that our INK BLOTS wallcovering has received the yellow light bulb — Best of the Best distinction at interiordesignmag’s 2025 Best of Year Awards. This prestigious recognition celebrates the most influential designs of the past 20 years, making the honor especially meaningful as it coincides with Porter Teleo’s own 20th anniversary year. INK BLOTS was developed in 2006 and introduced to the market in 2007, at a moment when nothing comparable existed. Its monumental scale, 36 inches wide by 15 feet high, represented a significant departure from the prevailing conventions designers were working within, introducing a new sense of drama and spatial dynamism. At the time, most wallcoverings were produced as repeating, all-over patterns; mural-scale designs were uncommon, in part because digital printing had yet to achieve the resolution required for refined results.
