It’s going down in Atlanta this spring! 🙌🏾🔥 The Student Freedom Initiative, founded by businessman, philanthropist and Alpha Phi Alpha brother Robert F. Smith, has partnered with Live Nation Urban(livenationurban) to launch HBCU AWARE FEST 2026 (awarefestival), a national cultural and educational movement focused on confronting the student debt crisis impacting Black communities. Set for Spring 2026, the weeklong festival will take place in Atlanta with support from Kappa Alpha Psi brother and Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. Organizers aim to raise millions for HBCU students, blending entertainment, education and social impact to spark a nationwide conversation about the financial realities facing Black college students.
