What’s a bookish world you’d love to step into, just for a day? 🗝️📜 While the world of Alchemy of Secrets by Stephanie Garber is very much our own, we would love to step into Holland’s shoes for a day and experience the mystery and magic woven through LA’s urban myths and local legends just as she did. Unfortunately, we can’t quite do that, but not so long ago, we came wonderfully close! To celebrate the release of Alchemy of Secrets, we hosted a magical afternoon tea with Stephanie, and it felt every bit as decadent, mysterious, and enchanting as the book itself. Set against a backdrop of rich teals and glowing golds, with the Watchman posted close by, it was easy to imagine the Professor herself opening the door and settling in to deliver one of her infamous lectures.
