A lot of people ask about the origin of our logo. I’ve always loved Octopi. I’m a surfer, I love the ocean, and one of my other life long passions is entrepreneurship. To survive and thrive in business, I believe you need to have all of the traits that the Octopus has that allows it to survive and thrive in the ocean: adaptability, resiliency, grit, and intelligence. My wife Chanra and I took our girls on a family heritage trip to Cambodia and Japan in 2017. I while there, I got a tattoo of an Octopus from Ganji at Tokyo Three Tides. The tattoo inspired the design of our logo, and the headband that our Octo wears represents Japan, where our family recipe originated from. #bachans #octopus #japanesebbqsauce
