Glimpse of the County Fair🐖🐮 The fair is a huge deal for our family just like it is to many other agriculture families. It is a time that the community gets to come together. For local families to take their little ones to discover all types of animals, foods, homestead projects and rides. Where 4-H and FFA members bring their fair projects. The fair projects that are closest to our hearts are exhibiting steers, pigs, lambs and goats. The fair is just one week long but 4-H and FFA kids have been preparing for this moment for almost the entire year prior. Showing an animal teaches these kids responsibility, dedication and work ethic that they will carry throughout the rest of their lives. Just as it taught us when we, the Painter sisters, showed animals way back when.
