Today we head to the Golden State to meet our Army ROTC #CadetOfTheWeek 🎉 Meet Isabel Hermann, a senior majoring in Journalism at Cal Poly. Cadet Hermann joined #ArmyROTC during her sophomore year of college. “I wanted more structure, direction, and a path that aligned with my long-term goals. I’ve always had an interest in serving, and ROTC gives me the opportunity to pursue a career in Aviation or Military Intelligence.” Hermann completed Basic Camp last summer in 2024 and graduated from both Advanced Camp and Air Assault School in 2025. “These experiences pushed me far outside my comfort zone, tested my resilience, and showed me the kind of leader I want to become.
