Holidays at Disney. Just me, myself, and I. Not a work trip/event. Not with the family. Just me, enjoying all that Disney has to offer during the holiday season. I had a great time and got on rides doing transfers like a boss (weight loss is GOOD). I also enjoyed the rides where I didn’t have to transfer out of the wheelchair. I ate. I drank. I chatted with strangers and somehow still brought my kids up in almost every conversation. I felt a little guilt at one point, but then I remembered it’s okay to choose a solo date for me. Choosing yourself doesn’t mean you love your people less. It means you’re showing up fuller, happier, and more you.
