On Thursday, December 18th, the University of Saint Joseph (CT) announced the hiring of Elizabeth Wulf as the first-ever head coach for the women’s ice hockey program. Both the women’s and men’s teams will begin competition for the 2026-2027 season. Wulf, a native of Larchmont, NY, graduated from Middlebury College in 2018 while being a four-year player for the Panthers. In 114 career games, she put together 27 goals & 37 assists for 64 points. The Panthers won the #NESCAC three times in her career while also qualifying for the National Tournament each season with a Final Four appearance in 2016. She was a three-time NESCAC All-Academic member and was a two-time #AHCA All-American Scholar. Wulf began her coaching career directly after graduating, becoming an assistant coach at Wesleyan from 2018-2021. The Cardinals saw their first-ever All-American under Wulf’s guidance.
