The 1892 Bishop’s Palace is officially dressed for the holidays and looking stunning after the roof replacement! 🎄 Most of us have been watching the progress on Broadway for months, so it’s good to see the scaffolding finally come down. It took nearly 40,000 hand-crafted terracotta tiles to get it back to the original 1892 look. These new tiles match the deep brown and red tones the architect, Nicholas J. Clayton, originally intended. You can explore this Victorian mansion Wednesday through Monday, 10 AM to 5 PM 🤍 #LoveGalveston #historicarchitecture #historicbuildings #historichouse
