PEPPERMINT BROWNIE DATE BARK đ«
If youâve been around for a while, you know I LOVE date bark!!! My go-to treat to prep & store in my freezer or set out if Iâm hosting. So of course, we had to do a festive version - fudgey, crunchy, minty & sweet⊠I promise you canât just have one square đ save + send to a friend who needs to try this!!
12 dates, halved & pressed into a flat layer
Protein Brownie layer:
3/4 c oat flour
1 serving chocolate protein powder (sproutliving or equipfoods are my fave, code TAYSTE20)
2 tbsp coco powder
1/4 c almond butter
1/4 c Greek yogurt or blended cottage cheese
2 tbsp maple syrup (optional if your protein isnât super sweet)
1/4 c unsweetened almond milk
1/4 tsp peppermint extract
Chocolate layer:
1 cup chocolate chips (I love the traderjoes dark)
2 tsp coconut oil
Crushed candy canes + sea salt
