This past November, the Jackson State Meteorology Program celebrated 50 years of impact and innovation! 🌤️ In 1975, Jackson State became the first HBCU to offer a bachelor of science degree in meteorology. 🌡️ Since then, JSU has produced more African American meteorologists than any other school in the nation.
